The European Milk Forum is a non-profit organisation which plays a vital role in driving the strategic development, management, and exchange of integrated information initiatives on milk and dairy across Europe.
Today EMF is composed of dairy boards from 9 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Norway and Switzerland.
The EU commission allocate annual resources to co-fund promotion activities for sustainable and high-quality EU agri-food products in the internal market and worldwide in order to develop new market opportunities for EU farmers and the wider EU food industry, as well as to help them secure their existing business.
Its priorities take into account the overarching objectives of sustainability and competitiveness, as well as food security.
This 3 year programme launched in 2024 is presented by the dairy organisations of the Belgian, Danish, French, German and Irish Member States, coordinated by EMF (European Milk Forum). Its actions target KOLs and consumers (directly & via KOL/influencers) and aims at educating consumers on sustainable eating and the meaning of a sustainable diet.
This programme is based on plain yoghurt, which forms part of the Food Based Dietary Guidelines from the national Health Authorities in the five participating countries.
Presented by the European Milk Forum (EMF), and implemented by AMA-Marketing (Austria) and Cniel (France) this multi-country 3 years programme launched in 2023 aims to promote European cheeses in selected third countries: Canada, India, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia.
Implemented by DDB (Denmark) and Cniel (France) and coordinated by EMF this multi-country programme running for 3 years from January 2022 to December 2024, aimed at supporting the consumption of organic dairy products by enhancing awareness of the European principles and values of organic production.
This programme will increase the awareness of the organic production and inform consumers about the European specifications strengthening trust in the organic farming label and maintaining sales and consumption of European organic dairy products.
A multi-country promotion programme that ran from April 2022 to March 2024. The programme was initiated by 3 national proposing organisations (Cniel – France, NDC – Ireland and DDB – Denmark) and was coordinated by EMF.
The objective of the programme, which is aimed at the general public on the internal markets, was to promote milk and demonstrate how its production and consumption are compatible with a sustainable diet.
A 3 years programme initiated by Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland and Northern Ireland (UK) and coordinated by EMF.
Running from January 2021 to december 2023 the programme ambition was to increase awareness of stakeholders about the specific features of dairy agricultural production methods in the Union and improve the knowledge among KOLs of the positive role of European dairy products in a healthy diet, based on a local sustainable food system.
