EFAD Congress – 24-25 October 2025

We are very much looking forward to The European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians (EFAD) Congress in MalmΓΆ later this month where we are hosting a symposium on:

β€œThe role of dairy foods in healthy, sustainable diets in Europe – nutrition, environment and farming perspectives”

Together with leading experts β€” including Dr Anne Nugent (Queen’s University Belfast ), Dr Anders Herlin (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences) and our chair Pauline Douglas, Ulster University Nutrition Innovation Centre for Food and Health (NICHE) we’ll explore how dairy fits into a food system that is both nutritionally sound and environmentally responsible, and why this matters for dietitians and health professionals across Europe. As part of our panel, we’ll also be joined byΒ Hanne Line Skovgaard Revsbech, Dairy Farmer and Agrarian Economist (Denmark), who will share her perspective.
