EFAD webinar on the food matrix effects of whole foods compared to fortified foods and supplements.

The European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians (EFAD) hosted a webinar on 4 December, 2024 supported by EMF.

The webinar explored some of the differences in the nutritional and health effects of nutrients in whole foods and food matrices, compared with the effects of fortification and supplements, and the impact that this may have when developing Food Based Dietary Guidelines and moving towards a more plant-based diet.
